1. Acceptance of terms

By creating a Quriousbit Games account, you confirm that you are 18 years or older, a resident of India, and physically located in a state where fantasy sports is legal. You confirm that you have read this agreement, the privacy policy, and the responsible play code, and that you accept all three.

If you do not accept these terms, do not create an account. If you have an account and no longer accept these terms, close your account via the responsible play screen and we will refund your wallet balance to the original payment method within 7 business days.

2. Eligibility

To use Quriousbit Games you must: (1) be 18 years or older, (2) be a resident of India, (3) be physically located in a state where fantasy sports is legal (we geo-block Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, Odisha, Sikkim, and Nagaland), (4) have a valid PAN card and Aadhaar card, (5) have a valid Indian bank account or UPI ID. Employees of Quriousbit Games, their immediate family members, and any person involved in organising or officiating a fantasy cricket match are not eligible to enter paid contests on the platform.

We reserve the right to verify your identity and location at any time. Failure to provide accurate information, or providing false information, is grounds for immediate account closure and forfeiture of any wallet balance.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password, OTP, or PIN with anyone, including Quriousbit Games staff. We will never ask for your password. You must enable two-factor authentication if available. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorised it.

One account per person. Multiple accounts are grounds for closure and forfeiture. We detect multiple accounts via mobile number, PAN, Aadhaar, device fingerprint, IP address, and bank account.

4. Deposits, withdrawals, and TDS

Minimum deposit: ₹100 via UPI, ₹200 via IMPS, ₹500 via cards or netbanking. Minimum withdrawal: ₹100 via UPI, ₹500 via IMPS, ₹1,000 via NEFT. We do not charge a deposit fee. We charge a ₹10 platform fee on withdrawals above the first fee-free withdrawal per week; the fee is waived on withdrawals above ₹10,000. We deduct 30% TDS on net winnings above ₹10,000 per financial year, as required by Section 194BA.

All deposits and withdrawals are processed via regulated Indian payment gateways. We do not accept cryptocurrency, foreign currency, or cash payments. We do not process payments to or from third-party bank accounts.

5. Contest rules

Contests are scored per the scoring system published on the fantasy cricket guide page. Captain scores 2x, vice-captain 1.5x. The team with the most points wins the contest and the prize pool. We reserve the right to void any contest in which a technical error affected scoring, with all entry fees refunded. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that violates these terms, with all entry fees refunded.

If a match is abandoned before the first innings is complete, all contests are voided and entry fees refunded within 1 hour. If the match is reduced-overs but completes, contest points stand and are scaled by the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern factor where applicable. The decision of Quriousbit Games on all scoring disputes is final.

6. Prohibited conduct

The following conduct is prohibited: (1) creating multiple accounts, (2) using automated entry scripts, (3) colluding with other users to share prizes, (4) entering contests using insider information about player selection or pitch conditions, (5) match-fixing or attempting to influence match outcomes, (6) money laundering, (7) using the platform from a state where fantasy sports is restricted. Violations are grounds for immediate account closure, forfeiture of wallet balance, and referral to law enforcement.

We use device fingerprinting, IP geolocation, and behaviour analysis to detect prohibited conduct. Suspicious activity triggers a manual review by our compliance team.

7. Limitation of liability

Quriousbit Games is a skill-game platform. We do not guarantee winnings. We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party data feeds (BCCI, ESPNcricinfo). We are not liable for losses arising from technical errors, network outages, or incorrect data feeds, except as required by Indian consumer protection law. Our maximum liability for any single incident is limited to the entry fee of the affected contest.

We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to secure your account credentials, your use of a public Wi-Fi network, or your device being compromised by malware.

8. Account closure

You may close your account at any time via the responsible play screen. We will refund your wallet balance to the original payment method within 7 business days. We may close your account at any time for violation of these terms, with the wallet balance refunded except in cases of fraud or prohibited conduct.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you via in-app notification and email at least 30 days before they take effect. Non-material changes (typo fixes, clarifications) will be posted without notification. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. Before filing a lawsuit, you agree to attempt informal resolution by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved informally, you may file a complaint with the consumer forum or the appropriate regulatory authority.
