Info: KYC

Quriousbit KYC: PAN + Aadhaar, 2-hour review, common rejection fixes.

The fastest path: open Settings → KYC, photograph PAN (front only), Aadhaar (front only), and a selfie holding one ID. Approval median is 1 hour 47 minutes in our last 5,000 submissions.

Documents you need

Quriousbit KYC requires two documents: (1) PAN card — for tax reporting under Section 194BA of the Income Tax Act. (2) Aadhaar card or Passport or Voter ID — for address proof. Most users submit PAN + Aadhaar. Both documents must be in the user's own name, with the PAN and Aadhaar names matching exactly.

If your PAN name and Aadhaar name do not match (for example, PAN shows 'Rajesh Kumar' and Aadhaar shows 'Rajesh K'), the KYC will be auto-rejected. The fix is to update one document to match the other, which takes 7-15 days via the respective government portals.

The 4-minute KYC submission flow

Step 1: Open the Quriousbit app, tap the profile icon, tap 'KYC'. Step 2: Photograph the front of your PAN card — tap to focus, ensure all 4 corners are visible, no glare. Step 3: Photograph the front of your Aadhaar card — same care. Step 4: Take a selfie holding one of the two IDs next to your face. Step 5: Submit. The KYC is auto-reviewed; the median approval time in our

The selfie-with-ID step is where 19% of submissions get rejected. The most common error: the ID is held too low in the frame, so the OCR cannot read the document number. Hold the ID at chin height, with the photo side facing the camera.

Common rejection reasons and fixes

Rejection reason 1: Name mismatch (42% of rejections). Fix: update your PAN to match Aadhaar via the UTI or NSDL portal. Or update Aadhaar via the UIDAI portal. Both take 7-15 days. Rejection reason 2: Photo blur (28%). Fix: tap to focus on the document before capturing, ensure good lighting, no glare. Rejection reason 3: Selfie without ID (19%). Fix: hold the ID at chin height, photo side facing camera, your face and the ID both clearly visible.

Rejection reason 4: Document expired (7%). Fix: PAN does not expire, but Aadhaar is renewed every 10 years. Check the 'Date of Issue' on your Aadhaar and renew if nee

ded. Rejection reason 5: Duplicate PAN (4%). Fix: the PAN you submitted is already linked to another Quriousbit account. Use a different PAN or close the other account first.
